Up and around but still dizzy

Well, I know if I said that to my daughter she'd tell me I've been "dizzy" for twenty years. :) My brain feels a lot like the jumble of pictures and paraphernalia on the bulletin board in my kitchen (above).

I have to be very careful when moving quickly as the room starts spinning around and just performing one simple task feels like I've run the Boston marathon. Other than that, as my husband said to me this morning... "Welcome back".

Perhaps it is a good thing to have such an experience now and then. I get frustrated over my lack of energy and consistent tiredness but believe me, I'd have gladly accepted limitations like that as opposed to not being able to accomplish anything but keep my head on a pillow.

I remember arriving home from the hospital the last time I had this "perfect storm" happen and feeling a sense of euphoria once I could cook a meal and do dishes! I'm looking forward to making a complete recovery and actually driving to the grocery store again.

If I begin to get frustrated over little things again... remind me of this past week. :)

Very soon we will be chatting again about deepening our pantries, recession proofing, books, tea, and other very important of our life as we journey each day, finding comfort in the fact that we are not alone.

Once again... I'm typing and squinting and not able to focus to clearly so forgive anything not picked up by spellcheck.

Note: If you click on the picture above, you will be able to see into "me" and all the unique things that I love. My son-in-law tells me the women in picture above (who are quilting) are not drinking CocaCola as the advertising suggested... but something stronger.

Hmmm... those bottles do look a lot like a different beverage. Added: Yes, they do look like the old Coke bottles but not to those less than a certain age. :)
