Hey Brenda, I'm here! I have had fewer than normal comments on my blog too. I don't know what to attribute it to, people are more fascinated by Sarah Palin than by my little blog I guess. :)
Canned 4 batches of peach jam this week - one sugar free batch for my diabetic Dad. Wiped the sticky off my fingers and hopped on the computer.
I read your blog everyday - keep up the good work!
I'm here...as I've mentioned previously, your blog is a source of comfort to me. Work, as usual, has just swallowed me...but how very thankful I am to have a job. Not thankful enough though.
Trivial question: If you don't mind....what kind of vanilla do you like at Target? 'Fessing up here, I really don't cook but I truly intend to start cooking again. I did just buy some Watkins vanilla...have never used it...we'll see how that goes.
I'm here. I can't yodel, but I can sing a little. I always read your blog and love all your thoughtful posts. I think people are caught up with lots of stuff right now. I think between the hurricanes and the political conventions folks have been busy. Don't ever think we are not out here. Brenda, I thank you for being who you are and sharing with us!
I'm here although I should probably be somewhere else. Or at least doing something else. And really I am doing something else, I am just doing this while I am doing that. Anyhow, enjoy your evening!
Hi Brenda! I'm here, too. First week of school here at our little home school - busy & fun. Lots of us began this week, so maybe that's where they are.
Know that I am visiting with you daily, reading, and praying. Love & hugs, Q
You are so funny! I've always wanted to yodel, but unfortunately it's not a talent I possess. But when my children watched Riders in the Sky when they were on Barney and Friends one time...I was impressed! LOL I try to keep up with you through Bloglines, though I haven't been commenting lately...but I'll try to do better! ;o) But for now, I really must get my kiddos on track for school! LOL Have a wonderful weekend. Blessings, Amy O.
I'm here too Brenda.Read you daily.:-)My blog is quieter as well.Probably a first week back to school thing for many people and their kiddos.I love, love, love your blog.It is a source of encouragement and I just love your recession proofing tips.I think of you every time I shop...Blessings~Sharon G.
Brenda Just to say Hi again! So much has happened since my last visit... You can read on my latest blog if you get time LOL We are having so much rain here I think it is the back end of the hurricanes in the us.... Or maybe other things including unjust laws that our goverment continues to pass...... I think we may need an ark or possibly we will grow webbed feet. Our wettest summer if you can call it that for 92 yrs... Still the rain pours and pours... I am @ our library waiting for it to calm down still many are homeless from the floods here in Yorkshire last yr... they manage to live in small statics till the insurers and our ever PC councils get round to doing something... Maybe down on their knees would help... But I musn't judge just Love them... Blessings Hope you can leave a comment when you get time lol on my new blog...
I'm here. And I've had a letter on my table for a week I bet, and haven't taken it out to the mailbox! (Didn't like my handwritting and am considering redoing it. How's that for ridiculous?) I read your blog everyday! I was amazed at how much you wrote even during the week you were working. I think this time of year is both busy and slow in strange ways. Lots of blogs are not posting as much as usual, but some for different reasons........For me, this is the month that my husband died in one year ago and it seems to be affecting me emotionally in strange ways. Thank God, with all my heart, for my children close by and the love and peace we all have with one another. Brenda, know that your blog comforts and inspires me every day and I know that I am not the only one.........Thank you!
Yodalooohohoho! Yodalhehehe! Nope, I can't yodel one bit ... but I am still here! Home from a lovely family vacation and back into the full swing of things!
I come by often but since I appear to be the only man looking at your interesting blog I have been shy about leaving comments. As you know by now I "stole" a song from your playlist. I appreciate the comments you have made on my blog. Keep writing. I will keep reading.
I agree...things have been quiet in blogland overall..to include myself...maybe the change of seasons..or..the Olympics, then the conventions....ahhhhh well...life goes on... ~Deby

I'm reading everyday, but don't always take time to comment. I like comments too.

I'm here. :)
I really enjoy your posts, they always make me smile, and think, and my day is a bit better after I read them. Thank you :)
No yodeling here ... just buried in school books and papers ... trying to pretend like we are really going to start school on Monday. :o)

Hello from KY!
I'm here and reading everyday, although I admit to 'lurking' most of the time.
First week back to homeschool here, too, as well as LOTS of tomatoes from the garden to be canned - had to be the same week don'cha know! :-)
Keep writing and I love the pictures you select - so homey.

I read you every day, but I'm a little caught up with hurricanes lately - Ike looks like it's heading straight for my house - and that is NOT GOOD.
I read your blog everyday too. Busy homeschooling and getting crops in off the fields. Just a busy time of year.

Hi Brenda
I am new to your blog - at least new commenting. I enjoy it very much. Drop by mine anytime.
Yes, ma'am. I'm here. I've been working all week and am just now catching up on my blog roll.
Nice to see you, as always.
Hi Brenda, I'm here also! My husband's family has been visiting, so I haven't had much time on the computer. I enjoy reading your blog whenever I can.
Yes I still here and reading, just right know my computer time is in little chunks.
I agree...things have been quiet in blogland overall..to include myself...maybe the change of seasons..or..the Olympics, then the conventions....ahhhhh well...life goes on...
