I truly have been able to do the work and arrive home at night without collapsing. Until last night! Even the college students were exhausted after a full day of shelving books. The workload on Monday through Wednesday gave us an opportunity to sit a few minutes before the elevator opened again with another cart of books to prepare for shelving.
Most of the day yesterday it seemed that darn door kept opening every five minutes. At least the day went fast. :)
Christopher stopped by after his classes to let me know he had sold back a couple books at the community college and would use part of that money to take Dad and I out to dinner. Sounds good to me... Normally my husband doesn't work at the end of semesters but the bookstore has set up some "remote locations" around campus and he is helping with one of them. He's finished with work an hour before me so he's been walking to the library and reading until I can leave.
It was wonderful to be able to have a good dinner and chat as a family before parting ways again. Christopher went off to study and we went home to... do nothing. I'd taken the time yesterday morning to wash some dishes and throw a load of laundry in the washing machine. I only had to dry that small load, check out a few blogs and e-mail, and then do nothing.
The week has flown by, as it usually does for "Buy Back"... I can handle nine more hours... I can do it (said the Little Engine that Could). It is all downhill from here. :)

How good of Christopher to take you out for lunch with the book money. Everybody need a little break.
Rest while you can!♥
