My Computer... RIP

I pushed the button to turn my computer on Sunday morning. Nothing happened. I checked all cords and switches and tried again. Still nothing...

My son is going to take it apart later this week and check a few things out but he has a "bad feeling" about it.

So... I'll only get to post once in awhile. Today he left his laptop home so I could get the Sunday Afternoon Tea posted and his dad could check his Fantasy Football results (which were quite good). Otherwise, I will have to work on his computer when it is available for there is nothing in the budget to replace mine.

I'm hoping we can revive it, if nothing else to get my pictures and homeschool files.

So enjoy the Sunday Afternoon Tea posted below (without pictures) and I'll return as soon as possible.

Acckkkk! This has happened to me twice in the past seven years; I feel the pain just remembering. Will be keeping positive thoughts about the computer, photos, and all the important things that you wish to save. I do hope that it won't be long before you're back up and at'em.

Oh, I hope the computer is an "easy fix".

Hi Brenda :) I do so hope, like Cheryl, that it will be easily fixed. If not, I will be missing you here, and praying with you as you use your computer time in other ways. Love, Q

Oh dear, I am going to say a prayer that you are able to save all your files, and that maybe the Lord will bless you with a new computer. Your writing is such a pleasure and I do look forward to reading your blog. Blessings, Karen

Oh, I so feel your computer pain. Unfortunately I had to replace mine...no life at all. The good news is that all the info was retrieved (but I don't know how to merge it with the info on my new laptop...yikes!)

It's amazing what CAN be fixed.

I am praying for a new computer for you! You are such a blessing! My life is stored on my computer, so I know what a loss not having it would be. You have a good attitude and I know God will bless that!

Blessings, KJ

This happened to me this summer. I had to take it to a place that repairs computers and they retrieved all my pictures and info and put it on a disk. The computer was beyond repair! Hopefully yours will be easier to fix!
