I am completely exhausted but almost at the end of this journey. As I have said before, it is well worth a couple weeks of tiredness to pay off the junior college bill for this semester (including those $500 worth of books for the three classes).
We also get a bonus if we finish the work and that bonus check is MINE....all mine! It is for $200 and I'm already looking through the newspaper to find sales on walking shoes and a couple of other needs.
I appreciate all prayers as I did have one scare on Tuesday night. It was almost closing and I felt like I was going to pass out (after working ten hours). Christopher knew I was in trouble because I told him he could drive home. :)
I made one major mistake when I was tired last night. I accidentally returned a customer's check when I gave them their receipt. I'm praying she is honest and returns it today. So...all prayers could be used that I do good work in spite of being rather loopy from long hours and little sleep.
Instead of a big dog with lots of hair and a flask of lemonade (they refused to come to the Midwest during a heatwave...smart dogs), I received a lovely "cuppa tea" in the mail.
Just two more days...

Do take care, and when its over with, brew a good cuppa, grab yourself a lovely book and put those feet up...:)
BLessings to you and yours...
Your almost finished and what a nice reward to be able to have that money to spend how you like! Hoping that customer returns the check!

I'm certainly hoping you get the rest you deserve this weekend.
Oh, I do hope she comes back with the check. The problem is she may not be dishonest; she may just think that you ran it through electronically. It is nice to have some money not earmarked for more urgent necessities.
Keep focusing on the goal & you will be able to (mostly) ignore the aching feet :)
What a blessing to know that the bill is paid & there will be a little extra for Mom.
Take care & get some rest (only one more day!)
praying you right through the rest of this week Bren... I did the same thing with a check once too. I hope this lady is honest enough to bring it back!
I'm counting the days... well, the hours now, actually. I will be so glad when you can put your feet up and rest, rest, rest, rest, rest.
You ARE going to do that, for as long as it takes, to re-claim your health, are you not???????!!!!!???????
Remember, "The Queen Of The Universe" has decreed it. :-))) And she is no one to be trifled with. :-)))
Many hugs,
Mari-Nanci
