My apologies to those on Bloglines and similar blog subscriber services. I was working on my sidebar this afternoon and decided to do some virtual picture readjusting to a couple posts. So...you may have ended up receiving posts I made over the weekend. They just didn't look...even. I love the way the sidebar looks now. Let me know if you think it looks too busy.
I've spent the day getting caught up on laundry, finally giving the carpets the attention they deserve, cleaning and decluttering as I notice something needs done, and generally making the house look tidy. As my week progresses, I will have time to do lots more reading. Nothing has gone off my Current Reading on the sidebar and nothing has been added. That should change soon.
It is finally feeling more like Winter here with snow expected this evening and/or tomorrow. That just may put me back in the baking mood. I got out of it a bit over Christmas when I was baking all the time. I'm certainly getting requests already for various baked items.
So for now, all I have left to do this evening is the folding of laundry which is now all over my bed. I did that on purpose. If it is on my bed, I have to take care of it before I can get between the flannel sheets. Thus...I have to finish the gotta do's of the day.
As for now, I'm going to quickly make a sandwich and brew some tea for my evening meal (it is so different than when the guys are home). Hopefully I will finish in time to check the evening news locally. Then, there is one of my favorite episodes of West Wing coming on this evening. I don't have to ask anyone if they want to watch something else...it is all mine...all MINE. Believe me, I will be ready for their return in time but for now, I am enjoying being the Master of my time. :)
