What a difference a week makes

This is what it looked like in a town near us last week. Believe me, I felt that cold! Yesterday I saw people in shorts and t-shirts. It wasn't that warm outside but it was in the 50s. Sometimes I think I should move to the South Pole where it just goes from very cold to extremely cold. Perhaps then my head wouldn't feel so heavy as sinus passages complain about the barometric pressure changes. Oh well...such is weather in the Midwest (and other parts of the country this year).

In just a few minutes I will be leaving for the co-op classes. My printer ran out of ink yesterday so I must stop by a Kinkos to make copies of the necessary pages of A Christmas Carol for my students (printed out from one of the wonderful online sites that someone has taken the time to scan old books). I realized a few weeks ago, when we are all literally on "the same page", it makes the class run much smoother. We're all enjoying the delightful Dickens' language. If you haven't read it, I recommend it very much.

There is a tea time display this afternoon at one of the art museums "in town". I may make the attempt to view it. It depends entirely on how I can work out the car situation. It sounded lovely in the newspaper article.

Now I must leave the computer behind and walk into the real world. I'm not certain I'm ready for it this morning...perhaps another cup of coffee is necessary.

Yes, that is what it was like last week. It's much warmer lately but we are suppose to get cold again...that roller coaster weather we have had all year.

Barb, I am enjoying A Christmas Carol very much. I don't know why I didn't read it before???
