It's hard to believe seventeen years have gone by. Our first son, Matthew, lived less than an hour after his birth. He was a preemie, weighing just under two pounds. Our daughter was born the next year but we were told we may not be able to have any more children.
Twelve years later, a son was born! I always knew there was a missing place at the table. It was him, born on the day before Thanksgiving, 1989.

Handsome son!
Lovely telling of family happenings.
We too lost a child, many years ago. So I understand, to some extent. We have three healthy living adult children. But never forget that there was a forth. :-)
Hugs and Happy Thanksgiving to you.
You have much to be thankful for every Thanksgiving! God knew just what he was doing giving you your Christopher - in his perfect time!
