I receive a small amount of credit when you follow a link in the body of a post or enter your Amazon shopping through one of the widgets on the sidebar. Whether it is clicking on any item in the Highly Recommended Amazon widget or when you purchase or reload a gift card by clicking on the Amazon Gift Card widget.
When entering your shopping through a link or a widget on the sidebar, you do not have to purchase the item you click on to take you to Amazon. Whatever you purchase before paying for your purchase or purchases count towards credit on that visit.
