We just got back from Savannah so I'm catching up with your posts (boy was it hot and muggy there).

I started to read the Kay Arthur link but had to stopped as it was too much "doom and gloom". I appreciate Silvana leaving a link with more info!! I hope everyone takes the time to read the clarification because it makes a world of difference.

ManuelaManuela@A Cultivated Nesthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08282273791971364124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32960314.post-12421613148143728102008-08-04T06:48:00.000-04:002008-08-04T06:48:00.000-04:00Hmmm, much to chew on with this post. As I read your thoughts Psalm 37:25 came to mind. David said, 'I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.' The challenge is to be counted among the righteous. Thank you for sharing these words today.
~Adrienne~Adriennehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09401476871614514660noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32960314.post-66765001361165547972008-08-03T20:28:00.000-04:002008-08-03T20:28:00.000-04:00Well said! I was interested to read the Kay Arthur link that you posted. I was a bit shaken as well by what this blog had to say. However, as I scrolled down and read the posts after, there was another link to Kay Arthur's website that clarifies (by Kay herself) what she actually said in her talk. Specifically, she clarifies what she said regarding famine in America. Here is the link to her response: http://www.precept.org/site/PageServer?pagename=gen_AmericaAtTheCrossroads

I thought you and others might want to read what she had to say. All that said, I still think it wise that we prepare for difficult days ahead.

Amen, God will take care of us.

Blessings!
SilvanaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32960314.post-9240967925789363552008-08-03T19:14:00.000-04:002008-08-03T19:14:00.000-04:00Excellent post Brenda!God will meet all our needs ...Excellent post Brenda!God will meet all our needs even if we must pray His provision in.We've seen it happen.Just want to say I am glad to see you back and feeling somewhat human again.God provides even for times such as you just went through with your tooth...Bless you~Sharon G.

ps...some have said for years that this nation may see anther depression like the first one...people like David Wilkerson I think...God's provision for His children never fails though, amen?!Sharon Goemaerehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06418510653781941204noreply@blogger.com
