I have an e-reader that I take when we travel with our caravan, mainly for weight purposes, but I have to say I much prefer a real live book to hold - there is just something 'special' about them.

I look forward to visiting your blog again - have a good week.June's Jottingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01354737956502739472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32960314.post-38657086255490212072019-09-02T08:11:54.088-04:002019-09-02T08:11:54.088-04:00You, my dear, are my Mrs. Beaver. I imagine that you have found a “Mrs. Beaver” in your corner, too.
This was a lovely essay to return to, but then you could hardly go wrong with anything you have written.

Now I want to chat about that painting. Here you have a lovely lady serving tea, though she does not appear to be much older than the young women who lean slightly toward her. Perhaps she is the eldest sister. Then we have the girl wearing red. Red. RED. What does it mean? Really, I have decided that she is the favorite daughter of the artist. LOL! Something fun to ponder. It was quaint and very cold in January for this Australian girl. That was a very special day.

I live a very slow life. I don't do well with noise and fuss. I have lost a lot of hearing which includes total los sin my left ear from the mumps when I was seven. Extra noise and business upset me no end. It is so wonderful to enjoy the day as it passes. For instance today I looked after my granddaughter who is two on Saturday. We had a lovely day and on a whim we drove to the bayside to have fish and chips. What joy to watch the world through the eyes of a very young child.

God bless you and may this week be special.Suzannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32960314.post-7687703399659972762019-09-01T19:31:08.675-04:002019-09-01T19:31:08.675-04:00yes, I too had an imagination- We had a house with...yes, I too had an imagination- We had a house with a path- till I was 4, my grandma had one till I was 10. I would love to go back to the slow days on farm- there was a lot of hard work, life was simpler and not so much stuff.

A friend of mine with 7 children made a narina set up in her basement. She collected people fake Christmas trees- I told her I wanted to come to see it.
LindaThe Journeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00548666978419775758noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32960314.post-27247368810063457882019-09-01T18:08:26.776-04:002019-09-01T18:08:26.776-04:00Thanks for sharing this post! I like your post and I will look for Queenie when I watch Lark Rise sometime. Being retired is somewhat of a help in slow calm living but I still feel that modern urge to do a lot. It would be nice to have tea with Mrs. Beaver.Terra https://www.blogger.com/profile/04396481049075747940noreply@blogger.com
