We find that interesting.

We also are not of the branch of faith that David Wilkerson is, but we have gotten his newsletters for years. We feel he is not an alarmist and after all that he was told to do in his congregation there, right beside the area the twin towers were...and also because many times he has stared death in the face (gangs, etc.)...we have always felt he was in tune with GOD. Also, there is another man, a prayer walker and pastor named Henry Gruever who has said similar things to David over the years. We feel he also has been shown things by GOD. And if we read the Scriptures well, we know the time of prophecy we are now in (one hint is that when Gaza is forsaken, that is an end time event...and as we know Gaza was forsaken forcibly as the Jews were made to leave that area...other events in that same passage have not yet been fulfilled...but watch!) I feel that none of us can 100% prepare, but we can share with friends and loved ones when it is needed and just as in other miracles, somehow it should be ok. We did some prior to Y2K...my husband then worked for a nuclear power plant and he knew that the likihood was GREAT for trouble...because of warnings and much money spent on the computer problems, as we all know, we came through it ok. But it was a "trial run" no doubt for later events, perhaps for the time we are entering. Even if things turn out better...it never hurts to be as prepared as we can.

Blessings, ElizabethAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32960314.post-10795416593621979472009-03-12T01:00:00.000-04:002009-03-12T01:00:00.000-04:00Good evening, Brenda. Just wanted to pop in and tell you how much I love your pantry posts (you'll never know how much they've helped my food costs stay low and still we eat great!). Yours was the first blog I ever read (I know, I tell you that about once every two months), and it will always be my all-time favorite. Have a wonderful week. Much love, hugs, kisses, and prayer, Brenna xoxoAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01277539761373030285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32960314.post-73132012126043985182009-03-11T23:41:00.000-04:002009-03-11T23:41:00.000-04:00My Pastor who is very middle of the road on believ...My Pastor who is very middle of the road on believing every prophecy or warning posted this on his blog also. It appears the signs of the times are not just to be taken without a bit of warning to prepare. It certainly wouldn't hurt us to do this anyway!Lyndeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12011489568916472118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32960314.post-39633539660450833442009-03-11T18:37:00.000-04:002009-03-11T18:37:00.000-04:00Reading the Cross & the Switchblade is what dr...Reading the Cross & the Switchblade is what drew me to the Cross. We have a nice little pantry in the works. It's important to prepare beyond pantries as well. Tom Sullivan has been talking about utility rationing that 'O's energy people are pushing, as well as further taxing of energy consumption.

Prepare, folks!sherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01869744622519612793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32960314.post-70637257862156353662009-03-11T17:10:00.000-04:002009-03-11T17:10:00.000-04:00Good morning Brenda,Thankyou for sharing about you...Good morning Brenda,

Thankyou for sharing about your feelings yesterday and the wisdom of peace and trusting in the Lord. I do not always make a comment but I do get round to reading most of your posts. It helps to keep me grounded in my faith during the week while I am away from my church family. I think its far to easy these days to be caught up in this worlds materialism and it is good to be reminded that others as well make do on rather small incomes by todays standards. I know what its like to live with pain, so I want to say again thankyou for your encouragement and insight.

Blessings Gailgailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11474172270399240621noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32960314.post-67038178938858100672009-03-11T15:59:00.000-04:002009-03-11T15:59:00.000-04:00Brenda-I too have read David Wilkerson for a while...Brenda-I too have read David Wilkerson for a while and trust his judgment. Because of your blog and several other wise advisors we have been collecting for months. I had hoped to have six months worth but with a lot of us (8 in the home, including my mom) that is a lot of canned goods. I appreciate all your links as well as I have used them in regard to food storage. I have never planted a garden but we are trying this year. Thanks for all your words of wisdom.
