Wow, amazing is right! This election will be very interesting!

I am NOT a public speaker, and don't enjoy it at all. I do wish I had forced myself in school to take classes to learn how to speak in front of an audience. I know it would have served me well in life.

NCIS and Bones are my favorite tv shows! (Okay, so there is also Stargate SG1 and Stargate Atlantis). I watch a little too much television sometimes! Other times, I spend the evening reading.Susan Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14193049178630106990noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32960314.post-1215199183379465452008-09-05T14:00:00.000-04:002008-09-05T14:00:00.000-04:00LOVED the speech! Regardless of what happens in Nov, this lady is a winner.

As for Christopher, the best advice I can give is exactly what Elisabeth Elliot taught me: "Just do the next thing."Daffodil Hillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02785659903570305128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32960314.post-6506825983082410142008-09-05T07:33:00.000-04:002008-09-05T07:33:00.000-04:00Hi Brenda,My Dad had diabetes. Please do take care of yourself...it is important and your family will be blessed because you do.

We watched the speeches with our Pastor who was all taken by what it must be like to speak to all of those people. Our church had 50 the other day...a crowd for us. I had to smile watching him process the possibilities in his mind. That of speaking to a crowd.

I could say so much more in response to this post but this is your blog...not mine...suffice it to say that I agree with you....

Blessings,

Becky K.Becky K.https://www.blogger.com/profile/10531485758141842829noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32960314.post-67672596925245975262008-09-04T21:25:00.000-04:002008-09-04T21:25:00.000-04:00Brenda, I too was caught up in Sarah's speech last...Brenda, I too was caught up in Sarah's speech last night. I sit here now waiting for the grand finale speech. I am quite excited about the VP choice and although I wasn't envious wishing it were me, I was very proud of her. I have done quite a bit of public speaking also, but the largest audience has been a few hundred. I can't imagine how much pressure she must have felt knowing how important her presentation was going to be and the impact it could make. Isn't it great when our children grow up and get us presents? I am so proud of my daughter and I thank the Lord for all He's done for us.nanatrishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05710834330081243962noreply@blogger.com
