My World This Week

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving Day.  We had a wonderful time here at home with my daughter-in-law's family.  Hopefully, having Thanksgiving together will become an annual tradition.

Here are a few scenes from My World this week.  :)

 Early Morning Light
Love the light shining through in the morning!

 Sunrise
I snapped this gorgeous sunrise through the window, it was too cold to go outside in my nightgown.  :)

 Decorating
There was a comment about the candy dish.  This one belonged to my mother-in-law.

 Thanksgiving Table
I used a mix and match of various patterns, love the way it turned out.

 Watching
Am I the only one who watches Max and Ruby at my age?  It is so charming...

 Victoria

Your table is beautiful! (I'm sure it became even more lovely as your family sat around it...)

It all looks like a perfect day. Now you'll have to tell us if the old adage is true:Red Sky in the morning, sailors take warning...

My husband's grandmother had the same candy dish. It would hold Brach candies. Ones my children still love... I think because of the memories of this wonderful women. We miss her terribly. I am happy your Thanksgiving was so comforting. Ours was too. Sarah

I love your My World This Week posts! Your TG table looked lovely. I haven't watched a whole episode, but the few times I've come across that show, I watch for a few minutes. (I didn't even know the name, but now that I do...!) You're right. They are charming and sweet bunnies. The show just seems to project an "innocence" that is not found on TV very often these days. As always, thanks for your wonderful blog! Bess

I also have that same candy dish. It was my Aunt Clara's, she always had it filled with homemade hard candy at Christmas and wrapped hard candy the rest of the year. I follow her tradition, but use sugar free most of the year. At Christmas I put the "real" thing in it, after all Christmas is just once a year!

Your table is lovely, you did a beautiful job arranging it.

God be with you, Marsha

Brenda - I read this with gladness - a table spread and extended family gathered - blessings unfolding. How lovely to have ended the occasion hoping you may have begun a new tradition.

Max and Ruby, Ruby and Max! Love them, though we don't get satellite now, so we don't see them anymore. We would always love to see what word Max was going to say in an episode!

Your photos are lovely - the sunrise! Gorgeous!

Thanks for sharing your week, and I am thankful that you and the hubby had family in for Thanksgiving!

I love Max and Ruby - if we had TV, you would be only one watching them. Love you new Christmas pic.
